We are delighted to let you know that we have already served up more than 1.4 million minutes of free Wi-Fi on the Britomart Free Wi-Fi service. That’s a lot of time online for the more than 16,900 users since Dec 2014. Interestingly, more than 89% of them are accessing the network via their smartphones. Only 5% of connections are via laptops, and 6% via tablets. Acurix Networks operates the Britomart Free Wi-Fi service for the Britomart precinct. Usage is free, unlimited, and the network is connected to a solid 100/100Mbps fibre connection.
